INSTRUCTOR ADVANCEMENT BEYOND BATTLEFIELD KALI
SINGLE STICK GURO APAT (4th DEGREE  INSTRUCTOR)

Higher rank levels of instructor are earned by spreading the art. I expect the instructor to continue to train and improve, but propagating the functional weaponry methods of Battlefield Kali will be the main criteria for further advancement. This will simply be measured by the number of students an instructor progresses through the program, and by the number of instructors that he or she creates. Here is how it works:

Instructor Degrees 5-10 are based upon the number of tests passed by the instructor’s students, along with the number of instructors made by the instructor. A good teacher teaches! The more people you teach, the more experience you get, and the more the art is spread.

You will need 200 points to move to the next Instructor level. Each time a student passes a test, you get 5 points. Each time one of your students passes an instructor test, you get 40 points. Here is an example:

Once you are a  Guro Apat (4th Degree Instructor), if you have 10 students who pass all of the tests of Battlefield Kali Single Stick Antas 1-4, that would make ten students passing 4 tests each for a total of 40 tests. Multiply 40 times 5 points per test passed and you have 200 points- enough to be promoted to Guro Lima (5th Degree Instructor).

Of course, not everyone wants to teach large classes. You can still be promoted if you only have one student. Here is another example.

If you only have one student, but you guide that student so he or she passes all of the tests for Battlefield Kali Single Stick Antas 1-8, (40 points) along with passing all 4 instructor tests, (160 points) you will have 200 points and will be promoted to Guro 5 (5th Degree Instructor). In other words, if you take one person to instructor level, you are promoted.

This point system remains in place as you continue to progress students and make instructors. Each time you reach a multiple of 200 points you will have proven that you are spreading the art and you will be promoted again. Each time you are promoted, you will place another black ring on the red sleeve of your stick.

The Instructor Levels are as follows:
